Accessibility

This site uses access keys to make it easier for people to use the keyboard to navigate. You can use the keyboard shortcuts listed below to visit commonly used pages on the site, such as the home page.

To use these shortcut keys you will need to press one of the following key combinations, depending on which browser you are using. To use these shortcut keys on a Windows or Linux PC, hold down the Alt key and then one of the keys in the table below. On an Apple Macintosh, hold down the Control key and then one of the keys in the table below. In Internet Explorer you will have to press Enter to confirm your choice. In the Opera browser press Shift-Esc, release those keys, and then press your chosen access key.

Re-sizing text

You can change the text size on this site by clicking on the links at the bottom right-hand corner of any page.

You can also adjust the size of the text on screen by following the directions below:

Internet Explorer 5+

PC – select the View menu, then Text Size
Mac – select the View menu, then Text Zoom

Internet Explorer 3 and 4

PC – select the View menu, then Fonts

Netscape 6+ and Mozilla

PC – hold down Ctrl and press + or -
Mac – select the View menu, then Text Zoom

Netscape 4

PC – hold down Ctrl and press [ or ] to alter the text size.
Mac – hold down Command (Apple) and Shift and press [ or ]

Netscape 3

PC – select the Options menu, then General Preferences, then Fonts, then Choose Font

Opera

Select the View menu, then Zoom

Firefox

Select the View menu, then Text Size

Adjusting site contrast

If you are using Internet Explorer, select the Tools menu then Internet Options and then click on 'Accessibility' (near the bottom right-hand corner of the menu box). Check the box 'Ignore colours specified on web pages' and the text on the site will be shown in black on white. If you are using another type of browser, please email
